Elaborado a partir de cepas de 20 años de garnacha gris, cultivadas a 350 metros de altitud sobre suelos profundos y fértiles, y cepas de picapoll negro sobre suelos pizarrosos, a 500 metros de altitud. Criado, sobre sus lías, durante 3 meses en barricas de roble de 3 años.
