Sus uvas proceden de cepas viejas plantadas en pendiente, sobre suelos profundos, de mediana fertilidad y bien drenados, que garantizan vigor contenido y correcta maduración. La fermentación trascurrió en depósitos de inoxidable durante 15 días con bazuqueos y remontados periódicos. Después del sangrado se mantuvo todavía en acero un mes antes de pasar a barricas de 220 litros, en las que reposó durante 8 meses sin trasiego alguno. Ya en botella luce coloreado de tonos cereza y grana exhibiendo nariz elegante de fruta roja al licor, finos tostados de la madera y especias. Su boca es fluida y elegante, con buena acidez y taninos firmes al tiempo que dulces. Por vía retronasal aparecen los recuerdos a tinta china y minerales. Final balsámico y equilibrado. Crianza sobre lías finas y 6 meses en barrica con un solo trasiego.
