Vall Llach empezó a elaborar este blanco para celebrar el décimo aniversario de la bodega. Era un vino pensado inicialmente para compartir con los amigos de la bodega y con coleccionistas, apasionados del vino. Se trata, además, de un vino con un especial significado por rendir homenaje y estar dedicado al gran poeta y amigo de Lluís Llach, Miquel Martí Pol. De hecho, el nombre del vino, 'Aigua de Llum', proviene de un fragmento del poema Solstici del poeta de Roda de Ter. Aigua de Llum sólo se elabora en aquellas añadas que la bodega considera excepcionales. Fermentado parcialmente (50%) del Viognier en barrica nueva de roble francés. Envejecido durante 4 meses en barricas nuevas de roble francés.
