El Château Climens se encuentra en Barsac, formando parte de la denominación de Orien Sauternes (Burdeos). Está cualificado como un Premier Cru en la clasificación Oficial del Vino de Burdeos de 1855. Desde el 1855 al 1971 la família Gounouilhou fue la propietaria de la bodega. Actualmente es propiedad de la familia Lurton, desde 1992 bajo el mando de Bérénice Lurton. Las 29 hectáreas de viña están íntegramente con semillon, con una producción media de 36.000 botellas.
