Torrette Supérieur es uno de los más grandes tintos autóctonos del Valle de Aosta. Todo ello gracias al carácter de la petit rouge, una variedad típica del valle muy reconocida en la actualidad, y la maestría de Giorgio Anselmet, todo un referente de la viticultura de este lugar y un ejemplo a seguir gracias al equilibrado uso que hace de la tecnología más moderna y la más antigua tradición. Junto a la petit rouge, Maison Anselmet Torrette Supérieur cuenta también en su coupage con un porcentaje de la variedad fumin, que aporta nervio al conjunto, y de cornalin, otra de las grandes variedades autóctonas del lugar, ahora en vías de recuperación. Después de su vinificación en acero, el vino sigue una crianza en barricas (sólo el 5% de ellas nuevas). Un vino de reflejos granates que en nariz revela los típicos aromas afrutados y de violeta junto a otras notas más profundas y evolucionadas de canela, de clavo de olor, de incienso, de regaliz... En boca insiste en los aromas especiados, mostrando una rica exuberancia y un perfecto equilibrio entre la suavidad envolvente fruto de su paso por barrica y la característica frescura mineral del Valle de Aosta.
