Barbeito 3 Years Medium Sweet es 100% tinta negra de la bodega dirigida por Ricardo Freitas –nieto del fundador Mário Barbeito– en Madeira. La uva se prensa y el mosto fermenta hasta que alcanza el grado de azúcar deseado (alrededor de 90 gramos por litro) y antes de criarse durante 3 años en barricas de roble, se somete al proceso Estufagem que pretende emular las condiciones de calor y movimiento al que eran sometidos los vinos en sus travesías por el mar en el siglo XIX y que le confiere su inconfundible carácter. Servir entre 13 y 14ºC acompañando una tabla de embutidos ahumados y quesos o un postre dulce.
