El Tiques fermenta en barrica y posteriormente pasa fugazmente por ánfora; se elaboran sólo 600 botellas. Es un xarel·lo limpio y profundo, sin sulfitos. Fresco y profundo, de nariz cítrica y delicada, con cierto empuje en boca adornado de aromas anisados y de confitería. De volumen medido y acidez vertical, con un final seco de recuerdos salinos que lo convierte en un vino terriblemente gastronómico. Crecerá en botella. Criado durante 3 semanas en barricas de roble y posteriormente durante 6 meses en depósitos de inox.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
