La Cuvée Spéciale de Alexandre Filaine está elaborada con uvas de cultivo ecológico y tiene como protagonista principal la variedad pinot noir. Fermenta con levaduras autóctonas en barricas de 100 años de edad, que le aportan un medido toque de madera y no realiza fermentación maloláctica. Su principal característica es el frescor, sustentado en un maravilloso aroma a manzanas verdes, membrillo y cítricos y en una acidez vibrante. Recuerdos minerales y a crema pastelera se suman a una aromática realmente compleja. En boca es directo y expresivo, preciso y enérgico; se intuye la madera en su estructura. Emergen los recuerdos de levaduras, miel, estragón y flores amarillas y la acidez cítrica refresca un cuerpo vinoso, profundo y muy personal. Se despide con gracia, elegancia y cierto clasicismo, con las flores y la mineralidad aún muy presentes. Su versatilidad le permite combinar con multitud de platos, desde aperitivos a platos principales. Por desgracia, su producción es muy limitada.
