El Tokaji Eszencia proviene de las parcelas de las viñas más viejas (60 - a 70 años de edad), en un viñedo de cinco hectáreas. Elaborado a partir del mosto flor de uvas afectadas por la botrytis, contiene 568 gramos por litro de azúcar residual. El Eszencia fermenta en recipientes de vidrio. Más de néctar que de vino, el Eszencia ofrece la esencia del albaricoque, con notas de naranja y de humo. Es espeso y viscoso en el paladar, con una acidez fresca. Puro, concentrado, equilibrado y refinado, con notas minerales en el final. Envejecido, con sus lías finas, en barricas de roble francés.
