La bodega Russolo es una pequeña empresa familiar dedicada a la producción de vinos de calidad y de una agradable fragancia y mineralidad. Estas características son resultado del microclima especialmente favorable de San Quirino (de una gran amplitud térmica), de los suelos de grava propios de la provincia de Pordenone, y de una elaboración inteligente y equilibrada. Elaborado a partir de merlot (90%), cabernet sauvignon y refosco, procedente de viñas de más de 30 años, Borgo di Peuma es un vino singular que se elabora mediante la técnica de "governo" (un proceso por el cual, tras 12 meses de crianza en barricas de roble francés, al vino se le añade el mosto obtenido de los mejores racimos pasificados de cabernet de la nueva cosecha). El resultado de este proceso, no muy diferente al del "ripasso", es un vino cálido y estructurado, suave y pleno. De profundo color rojo rubí, en nariz destacan sus aromas a fruta negra madura (mora), cuero, tabaco y sus notas de tierra húmeda y regaliz. En boca se muestra pleno, aterciopelado al paladar, suave, maduro, con taninos sabrosos y perfectamente integrados.
