La vendimia se ha realizado un par de días antes del punto de maceración fenólica óptima con el fin de conservar la frescura de la uva. Se ha realizado una maceración prefermentativa de 3-4 días y una maceración fermentativa de 4-5 días. Se ha practicado un délestage (eliminación de semillas) para disminuir la astringencia. La fermentación se ha realizado a 20ºC. Se ha buscado la máxima expresión de los aromas primarios. Producido en suelos de aluvión formado por arcillas, arena y piedra superficial. Los viñedos se hallan en las laderas soleadas de las montañas, a 370 m de altitud. Las viñas tienen una edad de 11 años.
