Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de segundo año, de roble francés. Posteriormente se embotella y se introduce dentro de ánforas para la crianza submarina al menos durante 12 meses, a una profundidad de 12 metros y una temperatura constante de 14 grados. Para la crianza se emplean barricas seminuevas, con un controlado aporte tánico. La madera totalmente nueva dominaría la estructura y aromas del vino.
