Elaborado bajo la D.O. Primitivo di Manduria, el Sessantani se elabora con unas viñas de casi 100 años de edad, las más viejas del Feudi di San Marzano. De profundo color rojo rubí, en nariz aporta unos primeros aromas dulces de fruta, ciruelas y moras maduras, mermelada de cerezas; tras ellos, notas especiadas y fragantes de regaliz, sándalo, cardamomo, pimienta, tabaco, incienso y cacao. En boca es rico, intenso, explosivo, pero exquisitamente equilibrado y elegante. Un vino potente y de gran cuerpo, pero también suave y acariciante. Realza platos de carne como chuletas de cordero, estofado de ternera, asado de pierna de cerdo.
