Thalarn es un syrah pirenaico, un syrah de altura, fresco, con un estilo que les podrá recordar a los syrahs de las zonas septentrionales del Ródano pero que se erige con su propia identidad y carácter. Criado en recipientes de distintas capacidades y materiales: tinos de madera, lagares de piedra, depósitos de acero inoxidable... resulta un vino complejo e intenso, con aromas florales, también toques especiados, de humo incluso. Un vino sedoso y con una buena acidez en boca, fruta fresca, delicioso, elaborado por la expertas, exigentes y siempre respetuosas manos de Raül Bobet y su equipo. Con el tiempo en botella puede presentar precipitados debido a que no ha sido clarificado ni filtrado. Se recomienda decantar.
Castell d'Encus es el proyecto de Raül Bobet en Talarn (Pallars Jussà), a más de 1.000 metros de altitud en el Pirineo de Lleida. Elabora vinos desde el 2001 y actualmente cuenta con 23 hectáreas de viñedo. Thalarn es exclusivamente syrah que fermentó en lagares naturales de piedra, tinos de madera y depósitos de acero inoxidable. Un tinto seductor y profundo, con una textura sedosa y equilibrada por una marcada frescura. Para disfrutar desde ahora o guardar 7 años en su bodega particular. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas nuevas, con alto aporte tánico.
