De hecho, fue en el siglo XIII cuando Alfonso Valdespino se dedicó al cultivo del viñedo y a la crianza de vinos jerezanos. Su Tío Diego es un clásico amontillado que se elabora con palomino fino del famoso Pago Macharnudo. Un vino seco que pasa 8 años de crianza bajo velo de flor y otros 8 en crianza oxidativa. Un amontillado fino, de color ámbar oscuro, complejo en nariz con notas de frutos secos, muy equilibrado en boca. Ideal para aperitivos a base de embutidos o para acompañar quesos curados y carnes ibéricas a la brasa. Profundo y extremadamente rico en matices.
