Siguiendo la tradición familiar de solo elaborar productos de uva Pedro Ximénez, este "blend" jerezano es el resultado de una cuidadosa mezcla entre las soleras 1918 (Pedro Ximénez de pasas) y 1964 (Pedro Ximénez de crianza oxidativa). Las botas seleccionadas de ambas soleras, se ensamblan un año antes de ser embotelladas en una proporción en la que predomina ampliamente la crianza oxidativa, pero en las que las aristas del roble quedan redondeadas por el vino de pasas, siguiendo criterios de la cata sensorial, en lugar de marcar proporciones preconcebidas, con el fin de no desvirtuar el equilibrio del producto.
