Allí se cultiva ampliamente la variedad tradicional grüner veltliner, aunque la riesling ha encontrado también su máxima expresión en zonas como Kamptal. Gobelsburg Riesling Urgestein proviene de las cepas más jóvenes de sus viñedos Gaisberg y Heiligenstein.
