Monovarietal de garnacha blanca procedente de viñedos de 45 años, con todo el sabor y los aromas que le confiere la naturaleza granítica del suelo que lo nutre. El nombre de Ctònia (diosa del subsuelo) alude a las raíces de este viejo viñedo, fuertemente arraigadas en el subsuelo. Envejecido durante 6 meses sobre sus lías en barricas de roble francés.

The production region of D.O. Empordà is located in La región de Ampurdán (Empordà), hasta 2006 denominada Ampurdán-Costa Brava, abarca la zona vinícola desde la Albera hasta la sierra de Rodas y la Garrotxa de Ampurdán, en España. El área de producción está distribuida en dos subzonas: 35 municipios al norte del Alto Ampurdán y 13 municipios al este del Bajo Ampurdán.
