Elaborado con uvas de la variedad Garnacha procedentes de diferentes parcelas de la zona de El Masroig. Son viñas todas ellas plantadas entre 1989 y 1997 a una altura de entre 160 y 200 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Los suelos son compactos, de carácter calcáreo y en algún caso rojizos con alto contenido en arcilla. No se realiza filtración por lo que con el tiempo puede presentar precipitados, sin afectar la cualidad del vino. Criado durante 6 meses en barricas de 500 litros de roble francés.
