Un vino diferente a los demás de la bodega y con el cual Alejandro Fernández quiso combinar tradición y modernidad, un gran reserva envejecido en viejas barricas de roble americano, que bautizó con el nombre de Janus, "en honor al dios romano de las puertas y umbrales (llegadas y partidas), de las vías de comunicación y de todo aquello que tiene un principio, un dios con dos caras, que miran al pasado y al futuro". Envejecido durante tres años en barricas viejas de roble americano.

The production region of D.O. Ribera del Duero is located in La región de la cuenca del río Duero, de unos 115 kilómetros de longitud y 35 de anchura, situada en la confluencia de las provincias de Soria, con 19 municipios, Burgos, con 60 municipios, Segovia, con 4 municipios y Valladolid, con 19 municipios, pertenecientes todos ellos a la comarca vallisoletana de Campo de Peñafiel. Comienza aproximadamente por el este en San Esteban de Gormaz y se extiende hasta Quintanilla de Onésimo en el oeste.
