Se recomienda decantar debida a la posibilidad de precipitados naturales. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble de varias procedencias y, posteriormente, durante 12 meses más en botella.

The production region of D.O. Cariñena is located in Exclusivamente la localidad de Cariñena, provincia de Zaragoza, en la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón, España. Se encuentra a 50 kilómetros de Zaragoza, al sur del río Ebro, en el llamado Campo de Cariñena, nombre que también recibe la comarca donde se encuentra, que limita al sur con la Sierra Virgen.
