Carlos Falcó, marqués de Griñón, se ha erigido en pionero vinícola elaborando un tinto exclusivamente de Petit Verdot, cosa que no se había hecho ni tan sólo en Burdeos, de donde es originario dicho varietal. Curiosamente, parece que el Petit Verdot, encuentra en éstas tierras de La Mancha las condiciones adecuadas para extraer toda su elegancia y complejidad. Se recomienda decantar media hora antes de su consumo. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas nuevas y seminuevas de roble francés Allier.
