Desde 1997, por su calidad ya se le considera un primer vino que brilla con luz propia. Procedente de los viñedos de Château de Valandraud (Virginie es el nombre de la hija de Jean-Luc Thunevin), se cultiva y vinifica con los mismos métodos que para Château Valandraud, por el mismo equipo y bajo la dirección de Murielle Andraud, esposa de Thunevin. Envejecido durante 18-20 meses en barricas nuevas.
