Un Bolgheri de carácter marino, mediterráneo y mineral. El Bolgheri Rosso de Grattamacco se compone principalmente de cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc y merlot, pero también de un 10% de sangiovese, variedad poco frecuente hoy en Bolgheri pero con capacidad para dar frescura y aumentar la carga aromática del vino. La fermentación alcohólica se lleva a cabo en toneles troncocónicos de roble mediante levaduras indígenas. En nariz ofrece elegantes aromas frutales, seductoras notas especiadas y balsámicas y un fondo ligeramente vegetal, pero lo más intrigante son los exuberantes aromas de matorral mediterráneo y algas de mar que emanan de la copa, sorprendentes. En boca confirma su sabrosura y aporta toques de especias (pimienta) que acompañan unos taninos dulces en un final lleno de sabor.
