Pater es un homenaje al padre de Jaume, un vino del que se suelen obtener unas 1500 botellas. Se elabora con una selección de garnacha tinta de viñas viejas y se redondea en roble francés. A la vista luce la fragilidad habitual de las garnachas fragantes y en nariz presume de especias frías como la pimienta negra o el clavo. En boca es fresco y fluido, pero sus taninos rugosos se dejan sentir. Su recuerdo es goloso y placentero, como corresponde a un gran tinto del Montsant. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble francés.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
