Serpico es un monovarietal de aglianico, la uva tinta que da lugar a los nobles vinos del Mezziogiorno, la zona sur de Italia, y se elabora a partir de las uvas del histórico viñedo "Dal Re", de cepas centenarias y prefiloxéricas. Feudi di San Gregorio, siempre atenta a la recuperación y revitalización de las variedades autóctonas de Irpinia, ha invertido gran parte de sus recursos en el cuidado y preservación de antiguos viñedos, conscientes del gran patrimonio que representan y, por ende, de los grandes vinos que de ellos resultan. De vivo color rojo rubí, en copa Serpico parece rebosar vida y anunciar su intensidad y complejidad. En nariz destacan su armonía y el coprotagonismo de sus aromas principales: las dulces notas de mermeladas de fruta (arándanos y cereza) y su vibrante mineralidad. En boca se muestra expresivo, con una destacada presencia de fruta carnosa, aromas especiados y ligeramente picantes, originales notas de tabaco e incienso y una cierta sensación silvestre. De taninos firmes y textura envolvente. Un Aglianico con carácter masculino, pero particularmente equilibrado y elegante.
