Y algo muy curioso, Formiga desprende olores a pimienta negra y raspón, elementos muy comunes con ciertos vinos del Ródano. La bouche es sabrosa y concentrada, con una dosis de excelente madurez que se aprecia muy bonita; una madurez justa e impecable de texturas atlánticas que indican una elegante frescura. Envejecido durante 8 meses en barricas de roble francés y americano.
