Este magnífico Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage da una idea de la grandiosidad de la syrah del Rhone. El secreto de la belleza y complejidad encontrados en este JL Chave Hermitage proviene de la maestría en las mezclas de las uvas que provienen de algunas de las mejores parcelas de toda la denominación Hermitage:Bessards, L'Hermite, Peleat, Meal, Beaume, Diognieres y Vercandiered. Las 2 hectáreas de viñedos en Bessards están consideradas el corazón y el alma de esta botella. Cada parcela se vinifica y envejece por separado, hasta que se produce la mezcla. Envejecido 18 meses en barricas de diferentes usos. La cantidad de roble nuevo varía del 10-20%, dependiendo de la vendimia. Las barricas usadas varían en edad de 1 a 5 años.
