Château Fonroque es un Grand Cru Classé. A pocos kilómetros al este de Libourne, a medio camino entre el Château Cheval Blanc y Château Laroque y es uno de los pocos Burdeos elaborado bajo prácticas biodinámicas. Château Fonroque es otro de los grandes ejemplos del buen trabajo de Alain Moueix. Un vino de perfil clásico y femenino, frutal y sabroso, con un uso de la madera muy razonado. Sedoso y fresco, de estructura firme, elegante y con un seductor fondo mineral. Envejece entre 18 y 20 meses en barricas de roble francés 70% nuevas.
