De oscuro color picota y nariz de cacao y cerezas en licor sobre fondo balsámico y especiado, el Bruel de l'Estany impacta desde el primer momento. Las flores rojas, los recuerdos lácticos y de cítricos confitados se suman a una boca de tacto sedoso, de taninos redondos y maduros para perfilar un tinto intenso, especiado y mentolado. Un gran tinto del Empordà con un fuerte aire prioratino. Envejecido durante 6-8 meses en barricas de roble francés.

The production region of D.O. Empordà is located in La región de Ampurdán (Empordà), hasta 2006 denominada Ampurdán-Costa Brava, abarca la zona vinícola desde la Albera hasta la sierra de Rodas y la Garrotxa de Ampurdán, en España. El área de producción está distribuida en dos subzonas: 35 municipios al norte del Alto Ampurdán y 13 municipios al este del Bajo Ampurdán.
