La Maison Louis Jadot, fundada en 1859, controla actualmente 240 hectáreas repartidas entre Bourgogne y Beaujolais, de las cuales 225 hectáreas se sitúan en la Côte d'Or. De los más de 600 lieux-dits que existen en Bourgogne, Jadot elabora en aproximadamente 150. Louis Jadot Charmes-Chambertin GC es un delicioso pinot noir plantado en una parcela de 28,43 hectáreas, el Grand Cru más grande del pueblo de Gevrey-Chambertin. Se caracteriza por tener unos suelos en parte pedregosos, arcillo-calcáreos, margas y calizas del Jurásico, y en la superficie se pueden encontrar numerosos fósiles marinos, que recuerdan el mar que cubría esta zona hace unos 150 millones de años. Una excepcional botella de magnífica guarda.
