La Maison Louis Jadot adquirió en el Domaine familiar Prieur-Brunet, situado en Santenay, que cuenta con 18 hectáreas de viñedos repartidos en la Côte de Beaune: Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard y Beaune, así como una pequeña parcela dentro del Grand Cru Bâtard-Montrachet. The production region of A.O.C. Santenay is located in La región de Sancerre, en la parte oriental del valle del Loira, al sureste de Orleans. Casi toda la denominación se encuentra en la orilla izquierda del Loira, frente a Pouilly-Fumé. Está bien considerado y principalmente asociado con Sauvignon blanc. La ciudad se encuentra en un afloramiento de la tiza que corre desde los acantilados blancos de Dover hasta Champagne y Chablis.
