La bodega Prunotto lleva más de un siglo en activo en la región de las Langhe, aunque no fue hasta 1989 cuando entró a formar parte de la constelación Antinori. Esta noble familia sucumbió a los encantos de este territorio y, conscientes de su potencial, se hizo con la bodega Prunotto manteniendo la tradición centenaria y la calidad de su amplia gama de etiquetas (entre los que se incluyen los grandes nombres de las denominaciones de Las Langhe) y aportando toda la modernidad de su estructura empresarial. Procedente de terrenos ricos en fósiles y minerales nace este Barbaresco que se cuenta entre los más equilibrados de la denominación. Sin duda un vino pleno y de gran complejidad. Envejecido durante un año en barricas de roble, el vino adopta un profundo color granate y una óptima consistencia. Con una elaboración cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle, Prunotto Barbaresco consigue conjugar clase, personalidad y equilibrio con una elegancia extraordinaria. En nariz destacan las notas afrutadas de cerezas en licor, suaves y frescas, junto a otras sugerentes y oscuras notas de tabaco y café. En boca, la sedosidad y finura de unos taninos presentes confirman el placentero trago que ya insinuaban sus aromas.
