Ornella Pelissero elabora su Barbaresco Bricco San Giuliano a partir de los viñedos de más edad de su bodega, cultivados a una altitud de 400 metros sobre terrenos arcillosos y calcáreos con orientación sudoeste. Cada cepa produce cerca de 1,5 kg de la variedad nebbiolo, que es vendimiada a mano entre mediados de septiembre y mediados de octubre y seleccionada rigurosamente tras un control de calidad. De unos viñedos que gozan de las mejores condiciones climáticas y un cultivo tan cuidadoso sólo puede resultar un Barbaresco de tal personalidad y equilibrio, con tanto encanto y vigor. En nariz ofrece generosos aromas de fruta roja (frambuesa y cereza) y especias (canela, regaliz y pimienta blanca), que componen un bouquet intenso y elegante. En boca se muestra sensual y conquista el paladar con una envolvente caricia. De taninos suaves, su paso por madera (24 meses en barricas de diferentes tamaños) le confiere recuerdos de café y avellana que conducen a un final de gran equilibrio.
