El Nogal es el vino resultado de la finca del mismo nombre de una de las bodegas más prestigiosas de Ribera del Duero, Pago de los Capellanes. Elaborado a partir de cepas de tinta fina de una única y pequeña parcela de 6 hectáreas de suelos arcillo-calcáreos. Es un tinto concentrado, potente, elegante y complejo con gran potencial de guarda. Con una nariz llena de especias, ahumados, notas terrosas y minerales que evocan su especial terruño, se elabora únicamente en añadas consideradas excepcionales. Recomendamos decantar. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas nuevas, con alto aporte tánico.

The production region of D.O. Ribera del Duero is located in La región de la cuenca del río Duero, de unos 115 kilómetros de longitud y 35 de anchura, situada en la confluencia de las provincias de Soria, con 19 municipios, Burgos, con 60 municipios, Segovia, con 4 municipios y Valladolid, con 19 municipios, pertenecientes todos ellos a la comarca vallisoletana de Campo de Peñafiel. Comienza aproximadamente por el este en San Esteban de Gormaz y se extiende hasta Quintanilla de Onésimo en el oeste.
