El Bellmunt de Mas d'en Gil es un tinto que nos acerca al encanto de los pueblecitos del Priorat desde el frescor y la frutosidad de sus uvas. Sus aromas de cerezas y bosque apoyados por algunos tonos especiados y levemente licorosos nos muestran un Priorat algo más abierto de lo que esta denominación suele ofrecernos, pero no carente de carácter y mineralidad. Sabroso e intenso al tiempo que sencillo de interpretar, un Priorat para descubrir uno de los elaboradores más elegantes de Cataluña. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas usadas, con muy poco aporte tánico. La madera nueva dominaría la estructura y aromas del vino.
Climatología del viñedo: Mediterráneo con influencia continental.
Suelo del viñedo: Licorella.
Antigüedad del viñedo: 1988-1993.

Priorat is located in La región del Priorato (Priorat), situada en la provincia de Tarragona, España, y reconocida con la máxima calidad al ser denominación de origen calificada. Es una zona montañosa, de origen volcánico, y con laderas escarpadas, de manera que se cultiva la viña en las características terrazas.
