Crianza oxidativa durante más de 30 años en barricas de roble americano. La empresa Málaga Virgen fue fundada a finales del siglo XIX (1885) por Salvador López López, en 1896 se asocia con su hermano Francisco López López, inician una comercialización de vinos embotellados entre los que sobresalen 3 grandes marcas: Málaga Virgen, Moscatel Salvador y Trajinero. Al final de los años 80 los nietos del fundador, adquieren el 80% de las acciones de la empresa y con su trabajo e investigación introducen en el mercado productos nuevos, Moscatel Iberia, Cartojal y el Brandy 1885. Con la gran experiencia acumulada por Juan Ignacio de Burgos, uno de los nietos, en el mundo vitivinícola van surgiendo a la luz productos nuevos e innovadores. Actualmente la hija de Juan Ignacio, Piluca de Burgos dirige la bodega, este hecho da entrada a la cuarta generación desde su fundación, aportando dinamismo, eficacia y modernidad en las bodegas Málaga Virgen.
