Los finos en rama siempre son más intensos de sabor, más largos en boca y con más peso que los finos tradicionales. Son así porque han sido embotellados tal y como se sacan de las botas, sin ningún tipo de filtrado los más puros. El Fino Gran Barquero en Rama, es de éstos: un fino en rama de los más auténticos, añejado tras una larguísima crianza bajo velo de flor, de entre 8 y 10 años, en botas de roble americano. Es un fino en rama con todas las letras. Con un color dorado profundo debido a su edad, lo definen sus punzantes aromas de yodo y brisa marina, y su carácter rústico. En boca es seco, salino, con un fondo ligeramente amargoso y, como todos los finos en rama auténticos, perfecto para maridar con los pescados más sabrosos, verduras braseadas, setas, pinchos y platos con aliños más fuertes o incluso picantes. Criado durante 8-10 años bajo velo flor.
