Taittinger es una de las maisons históricas familiares de Champagne. Fundada por Pierre Taittinger a principios del siglo pasado en Reims, actualmente cuenta con un tesoro vitícola de más de 180 hectáreas. Su Comtes de Champagne es su cuvée más especial y el arquetipo de la chardonnay. Fino, complejo y muy fresco, es un ensamblaje de distintos Grand Crus de la Côte de Blancs: Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, Oger y Mesnil-sur-Oger y una crianza de más de 10 años en sus cavas antes del degüelle.Este champagne tiene un bonito color amarillo paja con un delicado desprendimiento de burbujas. En nariz es sutil, con aromas cítricos de piel de limón fresca y manzana y con notas de brioche y mantequilla. En boca es exuberante, con una burbuja muy fina y bien integrada que invade el paladar. Sin duda, un blanc de blancs de libro.
