Mas Comtal es el nombre de un proyecto que inician a principios de los años 80 dos hermanos, Albert y Joan Milá, con un único objetivo: elaborar vinos y cavas ecológicos de autor. Aplicando una cuidada, moderna y pionera vez que respetuosa viticultura en la masía donde ambos nacieron y vivieron su infancia y juventud, a lo largo de los años han convertido Mas Comtal en una bodega de referencia dentro de la D.O. Penedès.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
