La Cuvée Louise debe su nombre al de una gran dama de la Champaña, Madame Pommery, una mujer valiente, emprendedora, que marcó todo un estilo en la elaboración de champagnes al tomar las riendas del negocio tras el fallecimiento de su marido. Desde 1979, esta cuvée de prestigio, elaborada con las uvas de las mejores parcelas, ha mantenido su estilo de gran pureza, finura, exigencia y rigor. Envejecido entre seis y ocho años en botella antes de su degüelle.
Fundada por el señor y la señora Pommery en 1836, actualmente es una marca dirigida por Paul François y Vranken Nathalie, como parte del gran grupo Vranken Pommery Monopole.
