Actualmente, Sumarroca cuenta con 464,8 ha que le permiten proveer los bodega del 100% de la uva que necesitan para la elaboración de vinos y cavas. De esta manera, las bodegas consiguen controlar toda la cadena de producción, desde el cultivo y la vendimia hasta la fermentación, el coupage, el filtrado y el embotellado. En cada etapa se aplican los criterios más adecuados para una mejora continua de la calidad.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
