Can Ràfols dels Caus Xarel·lo Pairal es uno de los blancos imprescindibles que Carlos Esteva elabora desde 1996. Nace de la perfecta combinación entre unas extraordinarias uvas de xarel·lo de un viñedo de cepas muy viejas con una leve crianza en barricas de castaño y una crianza de dos años en botella antes de su comercialización. En nariz tiene un delicado perfume de fruta blanca, almendra cruda y un toque salino. En boca es untuoso, profundo y equilibrado con un persistente y placentero final. Un gran blanco de guarda que se agrandará en botella.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
