Elaborado a partir de viejas cepas, plantadas en 1941, provenientes del viñedo O Chao, cultivado a 450 metros de altitud, sobre suelos graníticos. Criado, sobre sus lías, durante 6 meses en una sola barrica de roble francés de 500 litros, con battonage mensual. Posterior permanencia durante 8 meses más en depósitos de inox.
