Actualmente, Sumarroca cuenta con 464,8 ha que le permiten proveer los bodega del 100% de la uva que necesitan para la elaboración de vinos y cavas. De esta manera, las bodegas consiguen controlar toda la cadena de producción, desde el cultivo y la vendimia hasta la fermentación, el coupage, el filtrado y el embotellado. The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
