Un vino de terruño rojizo (por su contenido en hierro), la variedad xarel·lo con todo su carácter y sin estancia en barrica: concentrado, fresco, con multitud de aromas frutales y florales, graso en boca y elegante. Este vino se elabora con uvas procedentes de un viñedo casi centenario (95 años). Criado en depósito durante 6 meses sobre sus lías.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
