Coupage de xarel·lo y chardonnay vinificadas por separado y con un notable porcentaje de chardonnay fermentado en barricas de roble, durante 5 meses, que acentúan su complejidad. Maria del Mar Gran Reserva Cuvée es un cava sugestivo y de gran carácter, perfecto para brillar en una mesa de etiqueta, convencer a expertos comensales o presidir celebraciones muy especiales. Envejecido durante un mínimo de 36 meses en las cavas subterráneas. Tras el degüelle, se somete a reposo entre 3 y 4 meses más.

Cava is located in La denominada región del Cava, que comprende fundamentalmente la comarca catalana del Penedés (provincias de Barcelona y Tarragona), donde se encuentra San Sadurní de Noya, el centro de producción más importante. El cava también se elabora en otros 159 municipios de España, de las provincias de Barcelona (63 municipios), Tarragona (52 municipios), La Rioja (18 municipios), Lérida (12 municipios), Gerona (5 municipios), Álava (3 municipios), Zaragoza (2 municipios), Navarra (2 municipios), Badajoz (1 municipio) y Valencia (1 municipio), que en su conjunto configuran la zona de producción denominada Región del Cava.
