Cava semidulce elaborado a partir de un peculiar cupaje de dos vinos monovarietales muy contrastados y un licor de expedición, envejecido en barrica, que le aporta el grado de dulzura óptimo y unas delicadas pinceladas aromáticas y gustativas. De color amarillo-dorado y con reflejos de oro brillante, ofrece una amplia paleta aromática en la que destacan los tonos acaramelados, de cítricos y de frutas maduras. En boca es cremoso y corpóreo, con una buena acidez que le da viveza y frescor. De postgusto suave, persistente y sabroso, es un cava especialmente concebido para acompañar los postres, pero también es ideal para maridar con platos agridulces, "foies" y quesos potentes. Envejecido durante un mínimo de 18 meses.

El cava también se elabora en otros 159 municipios de España, de las provincias de Barcelona (63 municipios), Tarragona (52 municipios), La Rioja (18 municipios), Lérida (12 municipios), Gerona (5 municipios), Álava (3 municipios), Zaragoza (2 municipios), Navarra (2 municipios), Badajoz (1 municipio) y Valencia (1 municipio), que en su conjunto configuran la zona de producción denominada Región del Cava.
