Irene Alemany y Laurent Corrio tienen una manera muy personal de entender la viticultura. Elaboran vinos en el Penedès desde 1999 y su primer tinto fue Sot Lefriec. Sot Lefriec es un vino de cariñena, merlot y cabernet sauvignon de viñas viejas. Después de la crianza en roble francés, el vino no se clarificó, ni se filtró, manteniéndose así fieles a su filosofía de vinos de terruño, equilibrados, profundos y que expresen el territorio de donde proceden.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
