Un vino interesante que confirma la buena complementariedad de las uvas autóctonas con las internacionales cuando se realiza un buen trabajo. Un tinto serio y potente, con los característicos aromas de cueros de las uvas merlot y cabernet, maduro, con fruta negra, y el rigor, frescor y estructura de la cariñena. Un gran vino de cocina de otoño e invierno. Envejecido durante 23 meses en barricas de roble francés nuevas y de primer vino.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
